  1. She has such a pretty face in the 70th’s. She always took care of herself physically and put together. She looks so happy in this photo. It ‘s funny since her passing I feel the way women dress has changed so much. That is a beautiful moment Joan shared with her beautiful daughter.

  2. If only we could go back in time. So many wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing Melissa. I know how hard it has been for you and Cooper.

  3. What a awesome picture I miss Joan so much I would watch her on fashion police every week that was my favorite show actually only show I would watch I wish I had something of hers to keep and also wish there was something I can do for you love ya.

  4. From all those joke files a joke or two from the time frame of the pictures would be a really cool addition.

Some of them would probably still be funny … Joan was one of a kind and desperatey missed.

  5. Melissa, what a sweet picture! I have been wanting to tell you about how your mom saved me even though I’ve never met her. In June 2012, my dad….my hero, my friend, largely my sole support system (I’m divorced with no children)….passed away leaving me quite devastated and depressed. It was tough just to put one foot in front of the other to make it in to work every day. I’d go home and have some wine, trying to erase the loss from my consciousness. One such Friday night, I discovered Fashion Police. I had liked you and your mom forever but had never seen it until then. After one show I never missed another episode. I would look forward to Friday nights because I knew that your mom was going to make me laugh and feel better for at least one hour. I would sit on the couch, howling with laughter to the point that even my dogs looked at me as if I’d lost it. My favorite was the 80th birthday episode.
In any case, please know that your mom pulled me through a time that I wasn’t sure I’d make it. I miss her terribly and have you and Cooper in my thoughts. I will never forget her. Thank you for sharing your mom with us.
